In particular, Porto is a lovely and cozy city that's perfect for walking around with the family. If traveling by car between Lisbon and Porto, a great spot to stop on the way with kids is the Buçaco National Forest, where you can see the stunning Bussaco Palace and the gorgeous Fonte Fria forest fountain and stairs.
